Our monster collection is still growing.  The students are enjoying them in class.

The students are enjoying learning using the itouches.

Our indian headbands helped us learn more about comparing two groups of numbers and the letter i.

Ronnie's family stopped by to visit with us this week.

Madi created a piece of art based on Leo Leoni's Book, Inch by Inch.

We sorted our apples by size.

We graphed our apples by type.
This week we are learning about 2 letters, C and T.  Look around your house and see if there are any things you can count that start with one of these letters.  Tell us in the post what you counted and how many you have at your house.

Learning about the Five Senses

When we studied the letter Ss we talked about our five senses. We read a book about the five senses and popped popcorn, so we could use all five of our senses in a fun activity.

Mexican Fiesta, M and M graphs, and Many different M activities

This week we enjoyed learning about the letter Mm with a Mexican Fiesta, M and M graphs, Marshmellow Stamping, making mice pictures, and counting money.

Angelina has a turn trying to bust the pinata at our Mexican Fiesta.
Skylar sorted, counted, and graphed some M and M's.

This is a great group of students!

Next Week we will be learning about the letter Ii. This is a super hero letter because it can make two sounds.  Do you know of anything that is icky?  What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
