Busy, Busy, Busy Week

We had a great week. We started with a field trip to Mitchell Farms.  Then we learned about the letters P and L.  We carved a pumpkin, rewrote a Nursery Rhyme, and collected data about our pumpkins.  We ended the week with a Brown Bag Concert and some fun Halloween centers.  Write a sentence about what was your favorite thing about the field trip or our special day on Friday.

Purple Cows and Much More

Madi celebrated her birthday with 2 cookie cakes. It was wonderful!

We played a new electronic game this week to review inital sounds of items.

We enjoyed making our Purple Cows.  We even had a guest speaker who could recite the Purple Cow Poem from memory.

We started our week making painted toast to start our study of the letter T.  We ended our week with a cookie counting contest.  The students spent some time creating lots of things, reading, and writing.

Ashton's mother came by to tell us hello.

Ike, Conner, William, and Carter are enjoying lunch together.

Angelina and Chase are modeling their dog ears.

Keeton is stacking Oreos for our cooking counting contest.

Ann Hardin is getting started on her cookie counting.

Chase enjoyed the cookie counting contest.

Alcus was our winner. He stacked 23 Oreos.

Think about something you have learned this year.  Write a sentence about it to add to our post.
